2tweet: Broadcast Instant Media Galleries To Twitter Via Email

Following in the footsteps of services like Twitpic and Twitblogs, internet startup 2pad has launched 2tweet, a new service that allows you to Email any number of photos and videos to a designated Email address (twitter@2pad.com) to immediately generate a web gallery that is Tweeted to all of your followers. 2tweet will use the first 113 characters of the Email’s subject line to lead off the tweet, and will then append a link to your web gallery.

picture-12

To begin using the service, you’ll need to confirm your account with 2tweet and enter your login credentials so that it can broadcast tweets on your behalf. After that, Emails sent the twitter@2pad.com will be automatically posted without any other actions needed. 2tweet is very similar to Posterous, a Y Combinator startup that just closed a $725,000 funding round.

2pad, the company that makes 2tweet, allows users to mine their Email boxes for pictures and videos and automatically generate web galleries with them (if you enter your login credentials, it can also monitor your incoming and outgoing messages for new media and automatically add it to the gallery).

2tweetshot

The service is similar to Xoopit, a Firefox plugin that can scan your Gmail or Yahoo inbox for media (the service also offers its own standalone site). But 2pad has the advantage with compatibility, as it supports all IMAP Email providers, including Gmail, Yahoo, AOL, and Hotmail.

Omniture Brings Real-Time Analytics To iPhone Applications

Omniture is extending its SiteCatalyst measurement tool to native iPhone applications, enabling developers and marketers to gain insight on how users are interacting with their iPhone apps, based on real-time information. This should allow them not only to improve the user experience based on analytics, but also make adjustement necessary to generate more revenue by enhancing ad clicks, purchasing and increasing page views.

omniture

The new offer, which is basically an extension of its existing SiteCatalyst solution, is called App Measurement for iPhone and will be generally available as from January 2009. To our knowledge this is the first analytics program specifically designed for native iPhone applications, but it’s safe to say other providers will soon follow suit with similar offerings.

Update: that’s why we love commenters. Venture-backed Pinch Media also offers an analytics suite for iPhone developers.

Update 2: similar service providers include Medialets, Mobilytics, AppLoop and Mobclix.

Forgot Wordpress Admin Password - Reset using MySql and PhpMyAdmin

This happens many times when people forget both there wordpress login and password and since they can only retrieve the password by mail, when they enter both login/password correct, they keeps on getting the error: Enter correct login and email.

Now to reset wordpress Admin password or login or email, there are 2 ways. Either do it with using PhpMyAdmin or through MySql. If you want to reset wordpress password using PhpMyAdmin, check this page. I myself prefers this over MySql but somehow whenever I uses it, it says error and operations never gets performed. So I had to look at the other way of using MySql.

Here is what you have to do to Change Wordpress Admin password -

1. If you have shell access, go to mysql prompt and than go to wordpress database or if you have cPanel than you can browse to the database using PhpMyAdmin again. Typically your database name will be <account_name>_wrdp1

2. Now select the table of users which has all user info. By default it will be "wp_users". Actually you even don't have to do that. But first choose a password in your mind, and go to this link, enter the password and it will create a MD5 hash key(in 3rd row).

3. Now just fire this sql query -

  UPDATE wp_users SET user_pass="c4ca4238a0b923820dcc509a6f75849b"
WHERE ID = 1

Please note the MD5 hash key will be different for you.

Google Translate improved

Language translation site Nice Translator uses Google Translate's results but wraps them in a more dynamic front end that offers multiple translations as-you-type.

Type your phrase into Nice Translator, which auto-detects what language you're inputting, and watch as it lists multiple translations, in real-time, as you type. Google Translate's page isn't as nice-looking or dynamic as Nice Translator, since it requires you to choose both the original and translation language and manually refresh the page.

How to Understand Your Audience: Data Collection & Analysis

The internet is a fast-paced environment. People can come to your website at any hour from a wide range of locations, each of them with different intentions or needs. Unlike physical retail stores, you can’t see who is coming in and browsing around. You don’t know much about the people reading you. How can we develop a rough profile of all these individuals?

You already get a glimpse of them everyday when they interact with your website. Some may register for an account, leave a comment or send you an email. But many are ‘invisible’. They get to your site, see what you put out, click on a outbound link and disappear.

What you currently know about these individuals comes from a combination of visible user actions (e.g comments/emails) and statistics (e.g visit frequency/visit length). Is this knowledge sufficient for most businesses or bloggers? Yes. But I think it would be tremendously helpful to learn even more about your audience.

In marketing and advertising, we proactively define our target audience. We start with our end goals and then structure our website/ads with the right buzz phrases, pitch, style, keywords and angle to appeal to people we want to attract as a consumer/user/reader. Gathering information on visitors to our website makes us more effective marketers.

It is helpful to analyze and construct a general profile of your audience, however shifting it may be, because it provides you with information that will allow you to better improve your content scope, site usability, conversation rate or marketing campaign. Let’s split this process up into two sections: statistical analysis and data collection.

Statistical Analysis: Start Working With What You Already Have

Depending on the stats tool you’re currently using, you can get a lot of information on how visitors are using your website, where they come from and what they are looking at. There are obviously a lot of different metrics to look at but I’m listing what I think is more relevant to understanding visitors in general:

  1. Visitor loyalty, bounce rate, recency, time on site. These sites measure one critical thing: the level of engagement. They reveal how often people visit your site, the last time they used it and the depth of their visit. While these numbers aren’t a definitive interpretation of on-site user actions, they are a gauge of their enthusiasm.
  2. Visitor Location. This allows you to make cultural and linguistic assumptions of your visitors. If you know you receive the most visitors from a few specific countries, you might want to create landing pages/offers or content with a geographic focus.
  3. Visitor search terms/keywords. This includes both search engines and on-site search boxes. The clearest indicator of visitor interest, search terms tell you what they want to get from your site and it reveals information gaps you can fill up. This is where data collection gets specific. If you consistently get a lot of queries for a specific phrase, you can safely assume that there will be visitor interest in content or offers related to it.
  4. Traffic source. This includes search engines, referrer sites, type-in/bookmark traffic and ad campaigns. Pay attention to referrer sites: it reveals what visitors are reading or using. Traffic sources also tell you where to improve for greater visibility.

Take some time to look at these statistics. Instead of only looking at them at each single point in time, it makes more sense to regularly study them to see how they trend over the lifespan of your site or the course of a marketing/ad campaign. On the whole, they will give you a good idea of what users want and what draws their attention.

How to Get More Audience Data: Using Polls, Surveys and Features

Now for the fun part: the active solicitation of user information. Instead of simply monitoring web statistics, you create opportunities for visitors to voluntarily reveal personal data and opinions. These can be achieved in several ways:

  1. Polls. An excellent and informal way to get information on user preferences, they are very easy to set up and maintain on any website. The questions asked can be diverse and they are a good way to gradually accumulate a lot of information without being too invasive. Run a poll for two weeks and change the questions to pull in more information. They can be integrated on a regular basis alongside articles or they can be left alone on a visible corner of the website.
  2. Surveys. Depending on their length and how they are created, surveys may be more labor intensive. Some visitors will avoid them if they are too long. They are ideal when bundled with competitions or special offers which provide incentives for completion. Short surveys can be used for exiting visitors or as a follow-up after a user completes a specific purchase or opts-out of your payment plan/subscription.
  3. On-Site User Features. If you’re running a community, social media service or even a blog, you can get more information by simply offering more user features (ways users can interact with each other and your site). For example, allow users to input more biographical info in profiles or give them the option to favorite/rate your blog posts and the contributions of other users. Features also add value to users and increase their engagement with your site. Think strategically about what data you want and create a feature that allows users to indirectly reveal it. Facebook is a good example of a site with features that generate a lot of mineable data. Of course, it is always good to have an appropriate privacy policy and allow users to opt out easily from their side.
  4. Audience Feedback. To understand your visitors, its useful to ensure that you monitor your feedback channels. Comments, emails, incoming blog links, mentions on online communities and even tweets allow you to get an intuitive feel of what people think about your website. Subscribe to the right feedback channels (Google alerts, blogsearch etc.) and track them daily. Either do it yourself or get someone to be the official feedback/community coordinator. Audience feedback is often unsolicited, although you can easily get more comments/emails by specifically asking for them. This provides you with clues on how to better cater to your target market.

While this isn’t an exhaustive list, some of these methods can be applied online and offline simultaneously. For polls and surveys, you should be able to find some plugins or software available for your site platform. Alternatively, you can always use external online services like SurveyMonkey, PollDaddy, 4Q and Wufoo.

After obtaining this data, setup a system which allows you to segment and compare your findings over a period of time. This can be a simple spreadsheet or something more sophisticated. When combined with the visitor statistics you already have, it’s easy to understand your audience, allowing you to to better accommodate their needs or interest.

What not to do for SEO

Avoid expulsion from Google by following these SEO tips on what not to do. It’s very important that you obey the rules of the search engines or your site will be placed in a black hole.

Cloaking: A type of search-engine subterfuge in which an indexed Web page is not shown to visitors who click its link in Google (or another search engine). The cloaking works two ways: Visitor content is cloaked from Google, and Google’s indexed content is cloaked from visitors. This serves to give a high PageRank to content that ordinarily would rate a low PageRank. Cloaking is not always illicit. A certain type of cloaking are used to deliver pages tailored to a visitor’s ISP (America Online, for example) or specific Web browser.

Doorway page: An entry page to a Web site, sometimes known as a splash page. Doorway pages endure a negative connotation due to illicit techniques that send visitors to an entirely different site than the destination they clicked in Google.

Reverse Mobile

Excessive Cross linking: When cross linking is done intentionally, the Webmaster is seeking to raise the PageRank of the involved sites. Excessive cross linking can backfire. If Google decides that the resulting enhanced PageRank is artificial, any or all of the sites might be expelled from the Web index. Innocent cross linking between two related sites is usually not a problem.

Keyword stuffing: The attempt to gain a higher PageRank (or higher ranking in any search engine) by loading a page’s HTML code or text with keywords. In most cases a visitor can’t see the keywords because they’re buried in HTML tags, camouflaged against the background color of the page, or reduced to a tiny typeface. Keyword stuffing violates Google’s guidelines for Webmasters and can result in expulsion from the index.

Link farm: A site whose only function is to display outgoing links to participating Web sites. Link farms are disreputable versions of legitimate, topical link exchange sites through which visitors gain some content value. Link farms often have no topicality and present no guidelines or standards of submission. Google does not explicitly threaten expulsion for joining link farms, but it discourages their use.

Phone Number Scan

Mirror site: Mirror sites duplicate content and are used for both legitimate and engine-spamming purposes. Legitimate mirror sites assist in downloading when a great deal of traffic is trying to reach a page or acquire a file. Illicit mirror sites attempt to fill a search results page with multiple destinations owned by a single entity. When Google discovers a mirror site whose only purpose is to dominate a search page, that site risks expulsion.

Page redirect: A background link that sends site visitors to another site. Page redirects can be used legitimately, as when a site moves from one domain to another. In that scenario, the Webmaster sensibly keeps the old domain active for a while, seamlessly sending visitors to the new location when they click the old one. As an illicit optimization technique, page redirects deflect visitors from the site indexed by Google to another site that would not be able to gain as high a PageRank. This type of redirect, when uncovered by Google, risks the expulsion of both sites from the index.

Reverse Phone Detective

Spam: Generally refers to repeated and irrelevant content. As an optimization term, spam refers to loading a page with keywords or loading a search engine’s index with mirror sites. Google reacts strongly to spamming, and takes harsh measures against Web sites that use spamming techniques to improve PageRank.

MySpace delivers video to mobile phones

By Robert MacMillan (Reuters)

NEW YORK (Reuters) - MySpace users with mobile phones are about to find out if they can walk and watch TV at the same time.

On Wednesday, News Corp's online social network will make video clips from its members' pages available for viewing on mobile devices including the BlackBerry Bold, Palm Centro, Motorola Q9, LG Voyager, Nokia N95 and Samsung Instinct.

Calling Card

Members will be able to look at video on their own homepages as well as friends' pages. They also will be able to view professionally produced video from TMZ, the celebrity news and gossip website owned by Time Warner Inc; the National Hockey League; National Geographic magazine; satirical newspaper The Onion and others.

The free service will be supported by advertising. MySpace and many other companies are trying to exploit the small but growing mobile advertising market.

MySpace declined to comment on the cost of the project or how much money it would make them.

"These are the big guys doing it, and they're going to make some noise about it," said David Card, a media analyst at Forrester Research who called it a medium-sized deal in terms of significance. "Mobile is one of those things where people keep saying, 'Is next year going to be the year of mobile'?"

Reverse Phone Detective

MySpace video will be sent, or "streamed," from the social network's pages rather than downloaded onto mobile phones. For this reason, the clips will not be available on Apple Inc's iPhone, which runs downloaded video.

MySpace, one of the world's largest online social networks, plans to support mobile video downloads in the future, a spokeswoman said.

MySpace's growth strategy includes developing mobile phone applications, as well as international markets and building up its music service. Acquisitions are central to this strategy, Chief Executive Chris DeWolfe told the Reuters Media Summit on Monday.

The company will work with technology from a company called RipCode to make video available on mobile handsets that have different technical specifications for how they handle video.

RipCode also will allow MySpace users to stop having to save their video clips in different formats, something that it said would save hardware, energy and storage resources.

BlogRush Review: Using Widgets to Get Traffic to Your Blog

John Reese, a renowned internet marketer, recently launched BlogRush, a content syndication network that claims to be capable of sending free, targeted traffic to your blog.

How is this possible? Through the placement of a simple blog widget on your blog and the blogs of others. The widget will then display the headlines of your latest posts, which are pulled from your feed.

Reverse Phone Detective

Apparently, Blogrush was only launched yesterday and at the time of writing this article, I have not yet obtained any statistics ever since I placed the widget on my site 12 hours ago. More data and use of the widget will allow for greater analysis but for now here’s a review and introduction to BlogRush.
Introducing BlogRush: How Does it Work?

Understanding how BlogRush works isn’t difficult, although it can be a little confusing initially. Blogrush utilizes a viral concept which operates via a pyramid-style, multi level structure. This simply means that you get more traffic when you refer more people (who in turn refer others) to sign up and use Blogrush.

Phone Number Scan

I would recommend taking a look at BlogRush’s video introduction on the home page to get an good feel of how their network functions. For those of you, who would prefer to read, here’s how Blogrush works:

1. Sign up for a free account and register your blog by submitting your blog feed and picking a category. Place the widget on your blog and 5 links to other relevant blogs will show up within the widget (see my sidebar for an example).

2. Earn one credit whenever a page on your blog loads: this means that your latest post will be shown 1 time on other blogs with the widget. For example if your blog has 100 pageviews, your latest post will be displayed 100 times within the widgets on other blogs.

3. Refer others to sign up and install the widget. The number of pageviews your referee gets will be added to the number of times your blog titles will be shown within other blog widgets. For example, Tom signs up under your referral link and his blog has 500 page views.

This means that your blog title will be shown 500 times on blogs within your category, in addition to the number of views you are already getting for displaying the widget on your own site. This goes on for 10 referral levels.

BlogRush
How Much Traffic Will I Get from BlogRush?

Given that Blogrush has only launched yesterday, the amount of traffic you get is currently unknown. I assume it has to do with certain variables, such as the amount of traffic your blog has, your referrals, the actual click through rate, the placement of the widget on other sites as well as the category of your website.

Reverse Mobile

BlogRush is open to blogs of various niches, ranging from categories such as entertainment, technology, health or sports. Do however note that BlogRush is only available for english-language blogs with non-adult content.

Their pyramid referral scheme means that first movers and early birds will get an advantage. Supposedly, the more users you refer, the more traffic you get. Then again, this depends on your referrals’ traffic levels and the widget’s algorithm.
Trying Out BlogRush for Your Own Site

I’m really not a fan of blog widgets. There’s a lot of hype about BlogRush at the moment and I am personally doubtful that it’ll actually generate traffic that’s worth the real estate on my blog. Why? Because the click through rate may not be fantastic as it will also depend on where the widget is placed on other blogs.

However, Blog Rush has only launched recently and I do think it deserves a little experimentation before one can gauge if its worth your time. I may run the Blogrush widget a little longer to test the traffic levels. It will undoubtedly be removed if I seem to only send out traffic and not receive any in return.

A lack of data prevents me from fully recommending Blogrush; I cannot guarantee that you’ll get lots of traffic for your site. It is however cost-free and if you are really interested in testing it on your own blog, you can do so by registering here.

Information

Q & A

What Is a Reverse Cell Phone Directory

A reverse phone directory is like a regular phone directory except instead of looking up someones name to find their number the reverse happens and you look up a number to find a persons name. With these websites reviewed you can do with fro cell phone, unlisted numbers and more also.

How do Reverse Cell Directories Get Their Information

The people who maintain and run reverse cell number directories gather their information from a number of sources because there is no central database of cell numbers and their owners in the US and Canada unlike regular land lines.

Marketing companies, the internet and many more sell this information to reverse look-up directories to compile into their databases.

Is a Reverse Cell Phone Directory Legal?

Yes, while cell phone numbers are not freely available like land lines which are a part of the public domain there is nothing stopping enterprising businessmen to gather the numbers from their own sources to publish online.

Wal-Mart to sell $99 iPhones in late December

(Reuters) - A cheaper version of Apple Inc's (AAPL.O: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) iPhone will be sold at Wal-Mart Stores Inc (WMT.N: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) for $99 later this month, the New York Post said.

Two models of the popular device will hit shelves at the retail giant, the paper said, citing employees at several stores.

Employees also told San Jose-based Mercury News that the $99 iPhones would be 4-gigabyte models, and that Wal-Mart was attempting a pre-Christmas launch.

The iPhone went on sale starting July 11 at $199 for the model with 8 gigabytes of storage and $299 for the 16-gigabyte version.

However, iPhone users need to sign up with data service provider AT&T Inc (T.N: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) for a plan that costs at least $30 a month for unlimited Web access and another $5 for 200 text messages or $20 for unlimited texting.

Wal-Mart has been gaining market share and clout in the recession as cash-strapped shoppers seek out its low prices.

Neither Apple nor Wal-Mart were immediately available to comment.

Guaranteed Ways to Increase Traffic - PPC Publishing

PPC publishing is becoming an increasingly popular way to increase site traffic and build networks of customers. Most all marketing attempts or strategies are largely dependent on how they are presented, and PPC publishing is no different. Depending on the language, layout and presentation PPC publishing can actually make or break the entire sales pitch. There are some definite tips for this type of marketing and knowing them can put your marketing skills above the rest.

One of the biggest mistakes that most writers and publishers make is using too many phrases or wordy spills. This can lead readers off the subject at hand causing them to become distracted. Since these individuals are typically searching for information if they feel that they can get their questions answered or more interesting information else where they are likely to leave the site or material. Without the reader sticking around to find out more the sale has been lost.

A good PPC publishing strategy is a good way to get ahead in the internet marketing world, however the web owner must know how it is working. Without measuring traffic and visitor behavior it is impossible to have an accurate account of the success or failure of the campaign. There are many tracking programs that help web owners keep up with how their website and advertisements are working. This is very important because if the stats show that the ads are not working it is time to make a change.

The most important aspect of PPC publishing is to ensure that the customers are getting what they need. Do a little research and speak directly to the readers with what they want. Knowing your readers and customers can increase sales triple fold.

AdSense - How to Succeed

Background

In simple terms, AdSense is a program run by Google in which advertisements are placed on websites. The owners of websites can elect to join this program with the object of adding advertisements in the form of text, images, and even video onto their sites. The whole process is free and is run entirely by Google. Revenue is generated on either a pay-per-click or pay-per-impression basis.

Overview

Google studies the website content, looks at which part of the country the user resides, and considers a number of other factors in order to determine which advertisements are most suitable. By way of Google's own AdWords system, it is possible to place paid advertisements which are targeted in much the same way as AdSense.

Previously, a common method of internet advertising was by the use of banners, which consist of inserting an advertisement into the web page in the form of a GIF or JPEG image, JavaScript program or multimedia object employing technologies such as, Java, Shockwave or Flash. However, AdSense has taken the lead over banners since this type of advertising is less intrusive, and the content of the advertisements is often more relevant to the website.

AdSense uses a code, based on JavaScript, in order to position the advertisements onto the website of the registered user. As soon as the advertisements are added to the participating website, AdSense will display advertisements that are focused on non profit organisations, such as charitable causes, until the website has been crawled. Crawling or spidering is used by search engines as a means of creating a copy of all the visited pages. Other uses for crawlers include automating certain necessary tasks on a website, such as determining if there are any broken links or whether the HTML code needs validating. A Googlebot is a search bot, or automated script, used by Google to collect information from the internet to build a searchable index for the Google search engine.

Many websites use AdSense in order to generate income form the content of the site. One of the great benefits of AdSense has been the fact that small websites that do not have the resources for developing advertising sales programs are still able to generate advertising revenue.

In order to fill a website with advertisements that are related to the nature of its content, a brief script is added to the websites' pages. Websites that contain a wealth of relevant content have been very successful with AdSense since it is the content that is a principal determinate.

There are a number of ways in which AdSense revenue can be maximised, some of which include the following:

Use is made of a wide range of techniques to maximise web traffic, which is determined by the number of visitors to the website and the number of pages they visit. Sites closely observe the movement of traffic to see which parts or pages of their site are popular. They also look for trends in viewing characteristics in order to closely define the traffic they are receiving.

Ensure that valuable content is added to the websites which in turn will attract AdSense advertisements that generate income when they are clicked by the viewers of the site.

The text used on websites and the style of the narrative should be such as to encourage visitors to click on advertisements. It must be remembered that a typical visitor may only view a particular site for only a few seconds before moving on, so instant impact by the content is essential.

The income available by way of AdSense is generated solely by the AdWords program. The advertiser submits a sealed bid for the advertisement. When a visitor clicks on an advertisement, the advertiser only pays a monetary equivalent of slightly more than the second-highest bid.

High Paying AdSense Keywords - How to Find

Among those who want to make high revenue from Google AdSense, most of the AdSense publishers are looking for top level keywords: which keywords receive top commission in clicks. This is true that "higher an advertiser pays for a keyword, the higher the publisher receive commission in per click", so the publishers try to find the higher paying keywords in their contents of website links. The most expensive AdWords, which will usually bring the highest paying Adsense clicks, are those related to industries with high profit margins.

But, how can the publishers find those keywords for their site(s)? That is a great question for the publisher because finding good and high paying keywords and managing the keywords in content or article is really a challenging task. Well, the answer depends on who you are and what you have prepared to reach to those keywords. But the general good news is that you can, indeed, find such keywords if you need them.

Certainly, there are different ways to find the high paying keywords: paying methods and free methods. If you want to find high paying keywords free of cost, you can try searching Google. But there are many companies which are selling their services to help to find high paying keywords.

There is another method, if such a solution does not work for you; you can eventually choose a method of personal investigation. That means you can try out keywords by yourself and see which one works better or worse for you. For that reason, you can try http://www.adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal or http://freekeywords.wordtracker.com/ for keyword suggestion as "keyword suggestion tools". But you can use different ways to find good paying keywords by investigating yourself.

So, there are different methods to find high paying keywords to increase Google AdSense revenue. But, I have to say that, only having high paying keywords do not work to increase AdSense revenue; those are the trips to increase the revenue. So try your best to increase your AdSense revenue.

Google AdSense - Autopilot Money From a Website Or Free Blog

You can make money with Google AdSense. Google AdSense is an amazing contextual advertising program that lets you earn revenue from your site by a variety of revenue generating programs without any selling on your part. You just need a website or free blog and Google does the rest.

Google uses pay per click ads, AdSense for search, referrals for Firefox with Google toolbar, Picassa, Google Pack and the AdSense program itself to generate revenue for you and, of course, for Google.

There is definitely good money that can be made if you follow all the rules exactly that are given in the AdSense policies. Play by their rules and you will make money.

What you should NOT do:

1. Never change the Google AdSense HTML code. If this is a mystery to you, good. It's not something you want to learn.

2. Don't ask your friends and your relatives to click on your Google ads and never hint to your visitors to click on the ads either. This is fraud and they will come after you.

3. Never label the Google ads with text that says anything other than "sponsored links" or "advertisements." You know who will get you, right?

4. Never click on the ads that are on your page. Google has prepared for this, and they will know. This is fraud and they will come after you.

5. Never put a Google ad block in a pop-up window or in error pages. Not even on empty pages. You don't want to put something on a page just to try to make money on an accidental click. Again, this is fraud and will not work for long.

Here is what you SHOULD do:

Webmasters can make AdSense more successful by focusing on attracting more visitors to their sites. There are several ways to accomplish this. Improving content is critical, as visitors are more likely to view the site when it holds quality material. Market to the right people, and take every opportunity to give the website URL exposure.

Develop a mailing list, create a newsletter, offer a free item to encourage sign-ups, and publish a form on the website that allows visitors to request more information. This is all free advertising, which keeps viewers aware of the website and encourages new viewers to visit. The more of it that is done, the faster traffic will increase and the more clicks on Google ads you will get and the more money you will make.

Google pays you monthly when your earnings reach $100. This may take a while to accumulate because it takes a while to build traffic to your website or blog. The Google AdSense checks are a blessing to a large number of newbies with low budgets eager to make money from home. The possibility is there if you have a website with good content. Visitors will always come back.

Since AdSense is web based, you must have a website or blog to participate. This is not a problem. There are dozens of free websites and blogs you can get. Just do a web search. Once your website or blog is ready and the contents optimized, you can submit your application to Google. The AdSense program is not just for high page rank sites as some seem to think. Brand-new sites or blogs also qualify. Try the free Blogger.com. They are owned by Google and have AdSense built into their platform.

The Google AdSense program is a great way to earn an additional income for most webmasters and a big income for some who have made it the main source of revenue.
